Licensed Psychologist

I am a Counseling Psychology graduate from Teachers College, Columbia University, and worked with Dr. Marie L. Miville, having received specialized training through my doctoral program's concentration in Bilingual Latinx Mental Health as well as specialized monolingual bilingual and bicultural clinical provisions from the PASEO Mental Health program. 

As a third-wave behavioral clinician, I specialize in customizing treatment plans for patients with trauma histories and a readiness for change, beginning with mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness, setting clear treatment goals, establishing a safe therapeutic alliance, exploring the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations to identify behavioral patterns, and incorporating adaptive skills training with a focus on grounding techniques for managing somatic responses in English and Spanish.
